June!Just spent a bit of time in the spa with Tunch and went for a drive. Been having abdominal pain this weekend, will go to DR tomorrow to make sure it is not appendicitis.
Daddio is having a terrible time walking, we are getting test done but that is always a process before you find out what is going on. Poor guy wouldn't go to church today be cause he fell and needed assistance everywhere last weekend because he was having a bad day, he was and still is embarrassed. I will go with him no matter what I believe, next week, to help him get over it and make sure he doesn't fall anymore there, not too comfortable leaving him sometimes especially if I think he is going anywhere alone. He is using a cane and bought a walker at a yard sale, first time in his life, takes some getting used to.
Bathrooms are near completion, waiting on wallpaper for upstairs to finish and need to whip out the sewing machine for curtains and paint trim, then I am done with them.
Still no info on whether I get my raise etc. yet. I will let you know, I did ask and things are better.

April showers, oops I mean snow bring May flowers?As my dad would say, whatever! 8 inches predicted over the weekend for us on the bottom edge of the snow belt I feel for you all up toward Cleveland!
No flea market sales this weekend! I shall miss the $!
Work has been getting on my nerves a bit, I am supposed to be part time 9-1 except an occasional extra hour or two here and there to help if needed, but it is getting to where no one gives me their important work until noon and expect me to get it done, they have even come to me at 12:45 or 1pm asking if I can stay. Rude, as if I have no life other than them. I became part time for a reason, if they want more than that they are going to have to ask me & pay up in more ways than one, meaning holiday pay and perhaps a week of vacation, plus the pay they promised I would get to almost 2 years ago. It is getting difficult to schedule things if they are going to ask or expect me daily to do their work at the last minute or stay after. I will be having a talk with the HR partner in May so I think it is time to clear up a couple of things. Don't get me wrong I have had much worse jobs and this is definitely one of the best but ignoring the problem has never helped me in the past.
Really need to lose weight not getting anywhere with my willpower. I need help from myself to get motivated, unfortunately no one can do that for me.
On the up side Tunch and I are good! I am getting a new car (01 Taurus) hopefully in the next week or so. Dad will be home soon. Many good things to come!

Happy AprilFinally the weather has broken. whew! On the flea market game again every Saturday. Even have a reserved place to go each week. Cleaning the attic and eve closets. You cannot even imagine.....we shall leave it at that.
Dad will be back mid May. That date is set. Looking forward to getting alot done this summer. I am on my last week in tax season thank goodness. Starting Monday I will no longer have to stay late anymore unless I want to. I have been looking into finding a position at my old alma mater as some menial postion that might benefit me with the state retirement program, got to start thinking ahead. That is at a thinking stage only however.
Brother is now working, which is good for him to get out and work a few days a week for Lluc.
I am eating the best strawberry (fresh) parfait I have had in years from Giant Eagle of all places. Go figure some of their desserts are almost real bakery like.

Happy Easter!I am so tired of winter! Some of you know I hate being hot but for some reason I am tired of snow and cold and dampness this year. I am itching to mow, plant flowers and so on.
We have finally started working on the bathrooms and hopefully by May we will have them finished. That will be a relief.
Lets see what else is new. Our cat with diabetes is not in my opinion doing well although I try not to express that to Tunch much as he is so fond of him. Speaking of that, he just puked under Tunches desk so now he needs re fed to get a shot. Ahhh!
My two grandparents in their 90's aren't doing too well. They both want to die, but aren't. Eventually that attitude succeeds. I will especially miss my grandmother in Columbus, we were always pretty close, I don't really know my grandfather in New Hampshire well but he is my mom's last parent so it will be sad.
My dad is doing a whole lot better I believe and should be home mid to end of May for the summer. I look forward to having him around for a while.
Tunch and I wanted a vacation but it doesn't look like we will get one until late summer or September. We want to go to New Hampshire to see grandpa and also go on a romantic trip to Vegas/CA but we shall see.
Well I better "clean up" if you get my drift. Until next time......(may be august by then with my reputation for posting, hopefully not) have a great summer!

Wow it has been a while. House updates, new kitchen floor walls and ceiling done. Basement has been waterproofed, new spa.Dad in Florida, bro working at ToysRus during the xmas season only. Me doing what I always do. Tunch doing what he always does.
Happy Thanksgiving! We are eating out at the 356 Fighter Group Buffet. Then we are taking a nice meal to my brother in the hospital from the restaurant. Then home to vegitate.
I think I will be in Columbus Friday and Sat to see Grandma, haven't spent any quality time with her in a quite some time and it is over due. It is always quiet and relaxing which is hard for me but I need it. And she needs it. She is the only woman (mother like) in my life now so I need to give her and I some time.
Half done Christmas shopping already. Good for me. Always wanted to start off early once.
Well I am hitting the sack I am pooped. Later all..........
